In that picture, strategic infrastructure, especially transportation, is identified as the key 'launchpad' for the city’s strong transformation in urban, industrial, tourism and service sectors.

In recent years, the investment in key transport projects has fundamentally changed the face of the city. Included are the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway, the expansion of National Highways 14B, 14G and 14E, and a system of major bridges such as Hoa Cam, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Cua Dai, Thach Bich and Quang Da.

The eastern coastal region stands out with the Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa - Lac Long Quan axis, along with the 69 km - long Vo Chi Cong route from Hoi An to Chu Lai. This is considered the 'golden tourism axis' connecting Son Tra - Hoi An - Southern Hoi An - Tam Ky - Chu Lai.

Meanwhile, the midland - mountainous region is revitalized by National Highway 40B and the eastern branch of Ho Chi Minh Trail, creating momentum for the development of organic agriculture, medicinal plants and eco-tourism.

Strategic infrastructure is also a "magnet" to attract investment capital, especially foreign direct investment (FDI).

The expansion of seaports, airports, expressways, and logistics routes creates outstanding competitive advantages, making Da Nang an international trade gateway in Central Vietnam.

The Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, once the “industrial hub” of former Quang Nam Province, is now reaping significant benefits from the infrastructure connecting Ky Ha Port and Chu Lai Airport with the Da Nang - Quang Ngai and La Son - Tuy Loan Expressways and the coastal route.

This is the foundation for Chu Lai to continue attracting large-scale automobile manufacturing and assembly, supporting industry and logistics corporations.

In the northern side, the Da Nang Concentrated Information Technology Park is forming a modern digital ecosystem, attracting global technology corporations.

Thanks to its synchronous transport, telecommunications and logistics infrastructure, this venue is expected to become the “Silicon Valley” of the central region with a focus on exporting software, artificial intelligence and high technology.

Notably, the city is implementing the construction of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone with a special mechanism, connecting Lien Chieu Port, international airport and industrial parks. This will be a new economic pilot model in the city, attracting high-quality FDI.

With the aforementioned infrastructure breakthroughs, the city is gradually affirming its position as a modern, identity-rich central urban area, thereby spreading development to the Central and Central Highlands regions and extending its reach across the Asia-Pacific.
