DNO - At the 2026 World Travel Awards ceremony for Asia, Oceania and the Indian Ocean, held in the Maldives on September 27, numerous tourism brands, destinations and accommodation establishments in Da Nang were honored with a total of 13 awards, including seven Asia-level titles and six Vietnam-level titles.
At the continental level, tourism products in Da Nang were recognized across various segments, ranging from entertainment parks and cable cars to cultural resorts, integrated resorts and luxury accommodation.
Specifically, Sun World Ba Na Hills secured two titles: Asia’s Leading Theme Park 2026 and Asia’s Leading Cable Car 2026.
In the resort segment, Hoi An Memories Resort & Spa received the award for Asia’s Leading Cultural Resort 2026 , while Hoiana Resort & Golf was named Asia’s Leading Fully Integrated Resort 2026.
Meanwhile, Shilla Monogram Danang was honored as Asia’s Leading Lifestyle Resort 2026.
Notably, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort once again received recognition in two categories: Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort 2026 and Asia’s Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2026 (specifically for its Bai Bac Bay Villa).
In addition to the Asia-level awards, several hotels, resorts and attractions in Da Nang were also recognized in six categories for the Vietnamese market.
In particular, Four Points By Sheraton Danang was named Vietnam’s Leading Beach Hotel 2026, while voco Ma Belle Danang by IHG received the Vietnam’s Leading City Lifestyle Hotel 2026 title.
In the high-end accommodation segment, Beachfront Villa @ Naman Retreat was honored as Vietnam’s Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2026, and InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort received the Vietnam’s Leading Luxury Resort 2026 title.
In Hoi An, Hotel Royal Hoi An Danang was named Vietnam’s Leading Riverfront Hotel 2026.
Meanwhile, Sun World Ba Na Hills was once again recognized as Vietnam’s Leading Theme Park 2026.
