Da Nang to host Miss Southeast Asia Entrepreneur 2026

The competition is organised by Linamedia Co., Ltd. and has been licensed by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Da Nang People’s Committee.

According to Vu Tran Thuy Hong, Head of the organising committee, the event places emphasis on careful preparation and the overall experience of contestants throughout their journey, alongside the competition's professional activities.

The programme will begin on November 28, when contestants arrive in Da Nang for a photo tour, promotional filming and cultural experiences.

On November 29, they will take part in the “Southeast Asia++ Entrepreneurs’ Meeting and Networking” programme, together with competition activities.

Community engagement will follow on November 30 before the grand final and awards ceremony. The programme will continue on December 1, when the newly crowned winner, runners-up and other award recipients are scheduled to take part in post-event photography and filming activities.

A notable feature of the 2026 edition is the continuation of community programmes after the competition.

The organisers plan to involve the titleholders and award winners in charity activities in Da Nang and Ha Noi, including visits to hospitals, such as a children’s hospital in Da Nang, as well as the “Tet of Sharing” programme and free meal initiatives in Ha Noi.

The organisers said these activities are intended to encourage titleholders to remain involved in community-oriented programmes beyond the competition itself, highlighting values such as social responsibility, sharing and the ability to mobilise resources for practical initiatives.

First held in 2023, the pageant brought together women entrepreneurs from several Southeast Asian countries, including Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. Ambassadors, ambassadors’ spouses and representatives of diplomatic missions also attended activities during the inaugural edition.

Building on those connections, the 2026 competition aims to create a broader platform for women entrepreneurs, businesses, international guests and related organisations to exchange experiences, strengthen cultural understanding and develop new connections across Southeast Asia.

Also, this much-awaited event highlights an image of the modern businesswoman defined by intelligence, confidence in business, international integration, networking ability and social responsibility.

With its combination of cultural exchange, business networking and community engagement, the second edition aims to make Da Nang a meeting point for women entrepreneurs from across Southeast Asia while giving international participants another opportunity to discover the city and its people.
