Attendees at the event were Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung; Vice Chairman of the People's Council Doan Ngoc Hung Anh; Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi; representatives of departments under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of associations, corporations and businesses; experts in cultural industry development; and Korean partners.

In her opening remarks, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said the conference was not merely a promotional event but also a concrete step toward connecting resources, attracting investment and fostering a cultural industry ecosystem.

It also served as a forum for the city to listen to ideas, initiatives and solutions from experts, scientists, professional associations, artists and investors to support the development of its cultural industries.

She informed that Da Nang has identified six key cultural industries for focused development: performing arts, cinema, fine arts and exhibitions, cultural tourism, digital content, and handicrafts due to their great potential to generate tangible products, attract markets and deliver long-term growth.

The city has also identified three major shifts in its approach to developing cultural industries: from management-oriented thinking to development facilitation; from exploiting existing resources to investing in creativity, technology and content; and from short-term activities to long-term development, with a shift from events toward products and markets.

At the conference, delegates exchanged experiences and cultural industry development models, along with investment attraction, human resource development and digital transformation policies.

They also discussed the development of entertainment complexes, creative spaces, film-related facilities, night-time economy venues, concert programs and distinctive cultural products.
