During the meeting, the two sides reviewed and assessed the outcomes of the organization’s activities in Da Nang during the 2024 - 2026 period.
A total of more than VND3.19 billion (equivalent to US$122,304) was disbursed, reaching 116% of its original commitment.
DAFO has worked with Catalyste+ to prepare a cooperation program for the 2026 - 2029 period for appraisal by the Da Nang Department of Finance before submission to the municipal People’s Committee for approval.
Under the proposed program, Catalyste+, based on the practical needs of businesses and organizations in the city, will send highly qualified experts to Da Nang and coordinate the organization of training courses, workshops and seminars.
At the same time, the two sides will develop digital management tools, provide consultancy services, conduct capacity assessments, propose solutions, and raise awareness of responsible business practices for businesses and start-up entrepreneurs.
To mark the 10th anniversary of Catalyste+’s operations in Vietnam in 2027, the two sides plan to jointly organize a seminar entitled “People-to-People Diplomacy and International Resources: Keys to Sustainable Development for Da Nang Businesses”.
Also, a ceremony celebrating Catalyste+’s 10-year journey will be held in the city.
The event is expected to enhance the effectiveness of foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Da Nang, evaluate the current expert support model, and discuss sustainable cooperation mechanisms among local authorities, businesses and NGOs.
Between 2026 and 2029, both sides agreed to further promote local-level economic diplomacy by connecting Da Nang with potential Canadian provinces, including British Columbia, Nova Scotia and Ontario, thereby deepening friendship and fostering sustainable development cooperation.
