As reported by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, local accommodation providers served approximately 1.17 million visitors during the qualifying round of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (from May 31 to June 30), marking a 10.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The first five fireworks nights alone attracted nearly 400,000 visitors, equivalent to the total number recorded throughout the entire DIFF edition last year, underscoring the growing appeal of this year’s event.
Ahead of the grand finale, many high-end hotels have reported being fully booked. Citywide room occupancy is expected to reach 90 - 95% during this peak period, with 4- and 5-star hotels, especially those located downtown or along the beachfront with premium fireworks views, likely hitting 100% capacity.
Beyond lighting up the skyline, DIFF 2025 has delivered a strong boost to the local economy. In June alone, revenue from accommodation, food and beverage and travel services citywide is estimated at around VND 3,869 billion (approx. US$ 152 million), a remarkable 22% increase year-on-year.
