DNO - Newly-appointed Consul General of South Korea in Da Nang Han Jungil, on Tuesday, paid courtesy calls to the city leaders on the occasion of the start of his tenure.

At the Da Nang People's Council, the reception was chaired by its Chairman Nguyen Duc Dung.
Meanwhile, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Da Nang, the meeting was hosted by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the city.

The city leaders congratulated Mr. Han Jungil on his appointment as Consul General of South Korea in Da Nang.
They expressed confidence that in his new position, Mr. Han Jungil would continue serving as a bridge to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea in general, as well as between Da Nang and South Korean partners in particular.

Building on the strong cooperation between Da Nang and South Korean localities in recent years, the city leaders pledged to work closely with the Consulate General of South Korea in Da Nang to expand people-to-people exchanges and strengthen ties with the South Korean community living, studying and working in the city, thereby fostering mutual understanding and friendship.

Expressing his appreciation for the warm reception, Consul General Han Jungil expressed his desire to collaborate closely with the Da Nang People's Council and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the city to deepen cooperation and exchanges across various sectors, contributing to further advancing the Viet Nam - South Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
