DNO - With meticulous infrastructure preparation, massive scale, and the support of leading partners, the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 in Da Nang promises to set a new milestone and leave a significant mark on the history of the tournament and the global development of pickleball.

The Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 will take place from August 30 to September 6 in Da Nang. It is expected to bring together 5,000 athletes from 81 countries and territories.
The tournament will feature two main categories: national and individual competitions with five divisions: Open, Senior, Master, Kids, and Junior.
The expanded competition format is designed to give athletes from different generations, skill levels and backgrounds the opportunity to represent their countries and compete on the same international sporting stage.
According to the organizers, 156 teams have registered for the national team category. The participation of professional players from various countries is expected to deliver a series of highly competitive and exciting matches.
The organizers have already completed the draw and determined the group-stage lineups, with 16 Open groups, 10 Senior groups, five Master groups and four Kids groups.
Notably, Vietnam’s team has been placed in Group A of the Open category alongside Colombia, the Cayman Islands and Chile.
Vietnam will also compete in Group A of the Master and Kids categories, setting the stage for a number of eagerly anticipated matchups.
In addition to the official competitions, the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 will feature a wide range of programs and activities for diverse communities.
These will include events for entrepreneurs, young athletes and celebrities/KOLs, training sessions and clinics, a sports-and-technology networking forum, World Market and international exchange activities.
The aim is to transform the event from a sporting tournament into a platform that connects sports, business, technology, culture, tourism and international communities in Da Nang.
More interestingly, World Market, an international experiential space, is expected to run throughout the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026.
Featuring around 200 exhibition booths across a wide range of sectors, World Market is designated as a venue for interaction, experiences and networking for thousands of athletes, spectators and visitors to Da Nang.
As the tournament’s title sponsor, Heineken will also offer a distinctive experiential space that combines technology, sports and music.
The space helps create a vibrant festival atmosphere and open up thousands of new opportunities for connections with international friends.
The diverse range of activities is expected to broaden the experience for participants beyond sports to include culture, tourism, shopping and entertainment.

Since Da Nang was announced as the host destination for the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026, the Pickleball World Cup, the Da Nang Pickleball Federation and relevant agencies across the city have worked closely together on preparations.
According to Mr. Hercilio Cabieses, President of the Pickleball World Cup, the Tien Son Sports Arena and pickleball court complexes across Da Nang are equipped with modern facilities, ensuring the highest possible professional standards for the matches.
Furthermore, the city’s convenient transport infrastructure and high-quality accommodation facilities allow athletes to easily balance competition with leisure.
The Da Nang Pickleball Federation has also been proactive in its preparations.
In particular, the federation’s specialized subcommittees, including reception, logistics, security and communications, have developed plans for logistics, accommodation and transportation for international guests; competition organization, scheduling and professional operations; facility management; security, healthcare, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation; and a range of side activities.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Council and Chairman of the Da Nang Pickleball Federation Tran Phuoc Son said that with more than 5,000 athletes from 81 countries and territories, the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 is more than a sporting competition.
It is an international sporting festival where people from different countries, cultures and communities can meet, compete, connect and share their passion for sport.
During the tournament, Da Nang will welcome not only athletes competing on the courts, but also their families, fans, businesses, brands, media agencies and the international pickleball community.
