DNO - The exhibition titled “Temple of Literature: A Cultural Space of Millennia-old Knowledge” officially opened at the Da Nang Museum on Thursday.
The event was organized by the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature in collaboration with the Da Nang Museum.
On display at the exhibition are nearly 100 photos, paintings, artifacts and documents. They all offer a comprehensive introduction to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, which honors the national tradition of studiousness, respect for teachers and the spirit of lifelong study.
Additionally, the event features a series of educational activities and heritage experiences for the public, including exploring sacred animal motifs on iPad, bookbinding with Do paper using traditional methods, and trying ancient Chinese character woodblock printing and doctoral stele patterns.
The intention of the exhibition is to bring the image of the Temple of Literature closer to the public in Central Vietnam, as well as connect the Thang Long heritage with the vibrant cultural life of the city.
It also affirms the connection between the values of knowledge and talent and the city's desire for creativity in the new era.
The exhibition runs until September 14 at the Da Nang Museum.
