DNO - Canadian magazine Drift Travel has recently named Vietnam among the world’s top five destinations for long-term travel.

According to Drift Travel, unlike short trips often dominated by a long list of "check-in" points, longer vacations offer travelers fresh perspectives and unique different experiences.
Travelers will have more time to immerse themselves in nature, embrace the local way of life, and appreciate the connections between different regions.
Vietnam is considered an ideal country for exploration thanks to its harmonious combination of varied scenery, rich cultural heritage, and the ability to provide a continuous travel experience stretching from the North to the South.
In Vietnam, instead of relying on frequent disconnected flights, travelers can choose to journey along Vietnam’s railway network, starting from Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City and heading toward the other end of the country, making the trip more natural, convenient, and easier to explore.
Some of Vietnam’s iconic cultural and natural “touchpoints” include Ha Noi, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, Sapa and Ha Long Bay.
In March, Vietnam was named among the world’s 28 most beautiful countries by Condé Nast Traveler, reinforcing its growing appeal as a premier destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
In its latest list, the US-based magazine notes that while cities like Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City attract millions of visitors each year, Vietnam’s true allure lies in its diverse natural landscapes and immersive travel experiences. The country, it says, is “a haven for outdoor enthusiasts” and anyone drawn to scenic beauty.
