DNO - The Da Nang People’s Committee is executing a national programme aimed at attracting foreign experts, scientists, and overseas Vietnamese to engage in teaching, research, and work at higher education and vocational training institutions.

The municipal Department of Education and Training has been tasked with leading the programme’s implementation, including providing guidance, monitoring progress and advising city authorities, while relevant departments, agencies and educational institutions are required to review their roles and coordinate in its execution.
According to the programme, by 2035, Vietnam aims to attract at least 30 outstanding foreign experts and overseas Vietnamese scientists capable of leading key initiatives and delivering breakthroughs in education, training, scientific research, and technology transfer, particularly in critical and strategic technologies.
The programme also targets the recruitment of 500 foreign and overseas Vietnamese experts willing to work full-time at universities and vocational institutions in Vietnam, with the capacity to serve as research team leaders, laboratory heads, or directors of training programmes in priority and cutting-edge fields.
In addition, around 1,500 experts and scientists are expected to engage in teaching, research, collaboration, or remote partnerships with Vietnamese higher education and vocational training institutions.
