DNO- On February 9, Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, received Kim Seon Jung, Vice Rector of Keimyung University (South Korea), during her working visit to the city.

Vice Chairman Tran Anh Tuan thanked Keimyung University for its scholarships and active participation in cultural and professional exchange programmes in Da Nang.
He expressed hope that both sides would further strengthen practical cooperation, particularly in human resource training and development; strengthen connections between universities, research institutes, and training institutions to establish joint research groups and implement research projects in mutually beneficial fields such as healthcare, health sciences, and technology; and expand cultural and academic exchanges and community engagement.
Vice Rector of Keimyung University Kim Seon Jung said that Keimyung University hosts over 4,200 international students, and Vietnamese students make up about half.
She highlighted the university’s ongoing cooperation with Da Nang through exchanges, scholarships, and support for educational facilities, and expressed her wish to further expand collaboration, using education as a bridge to other sectors.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year, she extended best wishes to the city’s leaders and people. At the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Anh Tuan presented a Certificate of Merit to Keimyung University in recognition of its contributions to Da Nang’s socio-economic development.
