DNO - The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Quang Phu Ward People’s Committee, recently held an opening ceremony of the tourism program in southern Da Nang themed “Touch Nature”.

This program marks a new milestone in expanding local tourism space while strengthening connectivity between the city center and its southern areas that are rich in tourism potential.

Till date, more than six travel agencies have developed nearly 25 tour programmes to attract visitors coming to Da Nang's key southern region.
During the first nine months of 2026, several tourist destinations in southern Da Nang recorded a strong growth in visitor arrivals, including Tak Po (Tra Tap Commune) with nearly 7,200 arrivals, Loc Yen (Thanh Binh Commune) with 35,000, Tam Hai Commune with 42,000, the Vietnamese Heroic Mother Monument (Quang Phu Ward) with 90,000, and Phu Ninh Lake (Phu Ninh Commune) with 14,496.

The southern side of Da Nang features key transport links such as National Highway 1, the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway, the Da Nang - Chu Lai coastal route, and National Highway 40B. Its tourism resources are diverse, ranging from historical and cultural sites, rivers, rural villages, and coastal areas to lakes, mountains, and highland regions.

The tours are currently being developed around various themes, such as “A Journey to Touch the Pristine Nature of Southern Da Nang,” “Touching the Pristine - A Journey to the Legendary Ngoc Linh Peak,” “Legends of the Quang Land - A Peaceful Nature,” and “Journey to Revolutionary Historical Sites”.
