DNO - Da Nang authorities and Capella Quang Nam JSC has broken ground on the Tam Thang 2 Expanded Industrial Park in Thang Truong Commune, marking a new step in expanding the city’s industrial land supply and attracting domestic and foreign investment.

The project, developed by Capella Quang Nam, covers 110.7 hectares with total investment capital of VND550 billion (about US$21.5 million).
It has an operating term of 70 years from June 26, 2025, when the investment policy was approved and the investor was formally recognized.
Construction is scheduled to be completed within 48 months from the date the investor receives the land or land lease.
Capella Quang Nam said the project aims to develop and operate modern industrial infrastructure capable of attracting investment in green, advanced and highly competitive industries.
The company also aims to establish Tam Thang 2 Expanded Industrial Park as a reliable investment destination, offering quality infrastructure, professional services and a favourable business environment.
Delivering a speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Commiteee Phan Thai Binh said the project was significant not only for the investor but also for the city’s broader economic development strategy.
He said the project would help translate commitments made between local authorities, investors and businesses into concrete action, particularly following the launch of an initiative to promote double-digit economic growth in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone during the 2026 - 2030 period.
The project is also expected to contribute to the implementation of Da Nang’s 2026 work programme and development priorities.

The launch of the Tam Thang 2 Expanded Industrial Park is more than the development of another industrial zone.
It is a concrete step toward creating new production space, expanding the city’s industrial land supply and attracting additional domestic and foreign investment.
The project is also expected to generate higher value-added products, foster a new business ecosystem and create more jobs for local residents, while increasing budget revenues and supporting export growth. More broadly, it is expected to become a new growth driver for southern Da Nang.
To ensure the project’s successful implementation, Da Nang authorities have asked the developer to maintain the required schedule and quality standards, develop the industrial park along green, modern and highly competitive lines, and proactively attract high-quality secondary investors.
