Construction begins on Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh, former city leaders, representatives of municipal departments, agencies and local authorities, as well as business associations, strategic partners, and domestic and international investors.

Covering an area of 400.02 ha in Ba Na Commune, the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project has a total investment of VND6.204 trillion and an operating term of 50 years.

The project received investor approval from the municipal People's Committee in February 2025, and has already completed all required planning, land and environmental procedures.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh emphasized that the development for new-generation industrial park infrastructure was one of the city’s priorities in realizing its socio-economic development orientations.

He noted that the construction of the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park reflected not only the investor’s commitment but also the city’s determination to remove obstacles and accelerate legal procedures to create favorable conditions for project implementation.

According to the city leader, the project’s strategic location, with convenient access to Lien Chieu Port, Da Nang International Airport, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, the International Financial Centre and the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, will help establish an integrated industrial-logistics ecosystem and serve as a dual driver for attracting high-quality foreign direct investment.

Mr. Minh also highly praised the project’s eco-industrial park model, featuring modern technical infrastructure, industrial symbiosis, efficient resource utilization and reduced emissions in line with green growth objectives and environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.

The development is expected to lay the foundation for a sustainable manufacturing ecosystem and strengthen the city’s competitiveness in its next phase of development.

To ensure the project stays on schedule, Mr. Ho Ky Minh urged the Thanh Binh Phu My JSC, the project’s developer, to mobilize sufficient financial resources, manpower and equipment while maintaining construction quality, workplace safety and environmental protection.

He also called on relevant agencies and local authorities to coordinate closely to resolve outstanding issues, expedite the remaining site clearance work and invest in synchronized off-site infrastructure to maximize the project's effectiveness.

The Hoa Ninh Industrial Park is being developed as an eco-industrial park with synchronous and modern infrastructure.

It will prioritize investment in high-tech manufacturing, clean industries, logistics and other high value-added sectors.

Also, the focus will be on applying smart technologies in management and operations, and promoting efficient resource use through industrial symbiosis.

In addition to the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park, the Thanh Binh Phu My JSC is also developing the 335-ha FTZ Phu My 3 Da Nang Industrial Park at Production Site No. 4 within the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, with a total investment of over VND5.338 trillion.

Together, the two projects are expected to create a large-scale industrial complex that will contribute to reducing logistics costs, strengthening value chain connectivity, attracting high-tech investors, and promoting socio-economic development in Da Nang and the Central and Central Highlands regions.
