DNO - As the year-end peak tourist season approaches, Da Nang’s tourism sector is making every effort to lure more visitors from such key international markets as South Korea, Taiwan (China), the UK, Australia and Thailand, as well as fully tap potential segments like Halal tourism.
Specifically, tourism sectors of Da Nang, Hue and Quang Tri recently organized a joint pavilion themed “Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage” at the 19th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) 2025 in early September.
Earlier, in late August, the tourism sectors of Da Nang and Hue jointly introduced the great tourism potential of Central Vietnam in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Jakarta (Indonesia).
The abovementioned tourism promotion programmes advertised Da Nang as a diverse, culturally rich destination with professional services and strong potential for domestic and international tourism cooperation.
At the events, Da Nang introduced its outstanding tourism products such as the UNESCO-recognized heritage sites, beach resorts, MICE tourism, golf tourism, wedding tourism, and cultural and culinary experiences.
In the coming time, Da Nang will expand its presence at prestigious travel fairs such as TB Asia in Singapore, and OTM and SATTE both in India.
At the same time, the city plans to organize famtrips and presstrips, as well as invite key opinion leaders (KOLs) and international media representatives to experience its services, thereby spreading its image across global platforms.
With the international market, the focus will be on exploiting key markets such as South Korea, Taiwan (China), the UK, Australia and Thailand.
Additionally, the city will continue to promote the development of potential new markets such as the Philippines and the Middle East. It also aims to enhance connectivity with the CIS market to unlock further growth opportunities.
In addition to expanding international markets, Da Nang will pay attention to domestic visitors from major provinces and cities with direct flights to Da Nang such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, and Central Highlands localities. The target groups are families, young travellers, MICE guests and high-spending visitors.
With a diverse and strategic approach, Da Nang hopes to not only attract a larger number of visitors but also improve the quality of experience, strongly affirming its position as an attractive, friendly and sustainable international destination in the future.
