Community programs strengthen Vietnam - South Korea friendship ties

The event was jointly organized by the Da Nang Medical College and the Youngsan University of South Korea along with some relevant partners.

During the event, lecturers, students and volunteers from the two institutions and related units, joined the village’s children in cultural and musical exchange activities.

A variety of experiential activities were also organized, including creative puzzle games, rhythm and dance classes, painting sessions, introductions to South Korean culture and traditional games, as well as the presentation of meaningful gifts to the children.

The program not only brought meaningful spiritual and material support to children in special circumstances but also contributed to enhancing cultural exchanges, promoting bonds, and fostering friendship between the young generations of Vietnam and South Korea.

Earlier the same day, the Da Nang Medical College, in collaboration with the Youngsan University and the Quang Nam Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, organized a “Health Day” program for child patients and their relatives receiving treatment at the hospital.

At the event, participants had the opportunity to visit a range of health education booths featuring guidance on proper handwashing techniques in line with preventive healthcare standards, exercise counseling to help prevent spinal curvature disorders, oral healthcare and hygiene education, and cultural exchange activities introducing participants to South Korean culture.

Through such practical community activities, the program contributed to spreading healthcare knowledge, creating an environment for exchange and learning among students from both countries, and further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.
