DNO - Vietnam remains among the top three Asian destinations with the highest rates of repeat visitors according to a ranking recently released by the digital travel platform Agoda.
Notably, Da Nang climbed two places from the previous year to rank sixth among Asian cities most frequently chosen by travelers returning for another visit.

In Vietnam, this advantage stems from the diversity of tourism products available.
A trip can begin amidst the urban bustle of Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City, continue with a beach getaway in Da Nang, Nha Trang, or Phu Quoc, and then extend to culturally rich mountainous destinations like Sa Pa.
Each destination offers a unique reason to return, while the geographical proximity of various destinations allows travelers to combine a series of experiences into a single itinerary.
Agoda’s ranking also reveals that the appeal of repeat visits is widespread across Vietnam.
The five destinations with the highest rates of returning visitors during the first six months of the year were Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Ha Noi, and Phu Quoc Island.
Among them, Ha Noi climbed two places, Ho Chi Minh City moved up one spot, and Sa Pa rose three places compared to the previous year.
These changes are noteworthy as they show that a destination’s appeal is not a fixed value.
Alongside existing landscapes and natural resources, new tourism products are creating additional layers of experiences for visitors.
In Sa Pa, for example, Sun World Fansipan Legend was recorded by Agoda as the most booked activity in Vietnam during the first half of the year.

In the ranking of Asian cities, Tokyo moved to the top spot this year, overtaking Bangkok.
Bali secured third place for the first time, followed by Seoul and Osaka.
Da Nang ranked sixth, followed by Kuala Lumpur, Fukuoka, Taipei (Taiwan, China), and Johor Bahru.
Within Vietnam, Da Nang led in terms of repeat-visitor rates, followed by Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Ha Noi and Phu Quoc.
Da Nang also recorded the most notable improvement among Vietnamese cities, climbing two places to rank sixth in Asia.
The continued appeal of the central coastal city comes from its beautiful beaches as well as its convenient location, offering easy access to the UNESCO-recognized Hoi An Ancient Town.
The improvement in its ranking shows that Da Nang is not only successful in attracting first-time visitors but is also capable of creating strong incentives for them to return.
Da Nang is a prime example of how a destination can expand its appeal beyond a single tourism product.
The central coastal city benefits from its beaches, but visitors’ journeys do not necessarily end there.
Its strategic location connects Da Nang with Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while resorts and entertainment complexes continue to add new options for travelers.
Mountain landscapes and entertainment attractions also contribute to a different travel experience in Da Nang.
Visitors can return to the city not simply to repeat the experiences of a previous trip, but to combine beaches, mountains, heritage and leisure in new and more diverse ways.
