The “Brilliant National Day” series of experiences is taking place from August 27 through September 2, offering visitors a festive way to discover Hoi An while immersing themselves in the atmosphere of one of Vietnam’s most important national celebrations.

From the evening of August 28 through September 2, guests attending the show receive small Vietnamese flags to hold during the performance.

As hundreds of red flags rise among the audience, they echo the distinctive “Flag Hats” formation on stage, creating a visual connection between performers and spectators and bringing the spirit of National Day to life throughout the show.

Meanwhile, streets, themed neighbourhoods and photo spots across Hoi An Memories Island are decorated in the iconic red-and-yellow colours of the national flag, blending naturally with the recreated cultural setting of historic Faifo.

For visitors seeking more than a spectacular show, the destination offers a journey into the everyday life and traditions of old Hoi An.

Guests can sample local flavours at the Da Nang Food Court, join workshops featuring traditional crafts, explore the shopping and discover interactive mini-shows where visitors can step into stories inspired by the city’s heritage.

Hoi An Memories Island will remain open throughout the holiday, including Tuesday, September 1, ensuring visitors have more opportunities to explore, dine, watch performances and enjoy cultural experiences during the extended break.

The National Day programme also highlights this year’s theme, “Live in Heritage – Touch Faifo Culture”, inviting visitors to experience Hoi An not simply as a sightseeing destination, but as a place where history, culture and contemporary entertainment come together.

For those travelling to Da Nang this National Day, Hoi An Memories Island offers a colourful invitation to slow down, explore and create their own memories, from wandering through heritage-inspired streets to watching a spectacular live performance surrounded by a sea of Vietnamese flags.
