DNO - Vietnam Airlines will launch direct flights between Ha Noi, Vietnam and Ahmedabad, India on 3 November 2026, with four round trips per week. This becomes the Vietnam Airlines’ 7th route to India, raising the airline's total frequency to 25 round-trip flights per week in this market.

Ahmedabad also marks Vietnam Airlines' fifth destination in India, connecting Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with the Indian localities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
The Vienam airline's existing network, therefore, spans northern, western, and southern India. This caters to the increasingly diverse travel needs between Vietnam and India.
As planned, the flights from Ha Noi will depart at 17:35 and arrive in Ahmedabad at 21:30 (local time). In the opposite direction, the flights will leave Ahmedabad at 22:45 and land in Ha Noi at 04:35 the following day. The round-trip flight will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
To mark the launch of this new route, Vietnam Airlines is offering round-trip fares between Ha Noi and Ahmedabad starting from VND 6.3 million (inclusive of taxes and fees) until December 31, 2026.
India is currently Vietnam’s eighth-largest source of international visitors. In the first nine months of 2026, Vietnam received more than 670,000 visitors from India, an increase of 33% year-on-year.
Alongside Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, destinations such as Da Nang and Phu Quoc are attracting growing numbers of Indian travelers. This reflects the continued expansion of travel demand between the two countries.
According to Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines Nguyen Quang Trung, the expansion of the Vietnam Airlines’ flight network in India is to strengthen direct connections between the two countries’ economic and tourism hubs.
Ahmedabad paves the way to western India, making it easier to promote tourism, trade, and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Gujarat in particular and India as a whole.
