DNO - Two pupils from Da Nang won gold and bronze medals at the 2025 International Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) held recently in Beijing, China.
The Ministry of Education and Training announced on Friday that all eight Vietnamese participants at the 2025 International Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) won prizes. Of which, two of them from Da Nang brought home a gold medal and a bronze medal.
In particular, Nguyen Phu Nhan took the gold medal and Hoang Cong Bao Long grabbed the bronze medal. Both are 11th graders at the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted in Da Nang.
The 2025 IOAI took place in Beijing, China, from August 2 - 8, with 300 contestants from 78 teams representing 60 countries and territories.
Viet Nam’s national team comprised eight students and all won awards, including three golds, one silver, three bronzes, and one consolation prize.
With the abovementioned results, Viet Nam ranked among the top four countries and territories with the highest results at IOAI.
