DNO - The Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs organized a ceremony on Thursday to present Certificates for the Youth Exchange Programme between Viet Nam’s Da Nang and South Korea’s Daegu to participants.
The Youth Exchange Programme was held from July 28 - 31 in the coastal city with the participation of 30 Da Nang and Daegu pupils.
During their four-day stay in the city, the participants experienced the culture and daily life of Vietnamese people. They were taken to visit the Da Nang Museum and the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area. They also had a chance to experience traditional pottery making and explore the nature of the Son Tra Peninsula.
The programme was held for the first time in Daegu City in 2024. The meaningful and practical activity helps pupils of the two cities understand more about each other’s culture, tradition, beauty and cuisine, thereby contributing to enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields in the coming time.
