DNO - According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, the composition of international visitors to Da Nang in July 2026 continued to be dominated by Northeast Asian markets. The city also received positive signs from long-haul and potential markets.

In particular, South Korea remained Da Nang's largest tourist source market, accounting for 18.63%, followed by China (11.23%). Together, these two leading markets represented nearly 30% of the total number of international visitors to Da Nang last month.
The subsequent rankings were held by the United States (6.24%), Australia (5.86%), Taiwan (China) with 5.69%, Russia (5.50%), India (4.14%), Japan (3.93%), the Philippines (3.39%), and the United Kingdom (3.34%). The remainers accounted for 32.05%.
Four combined Northeast Asian markets, including South Korea, China, Taiwan (China), and Japan, accounted for nearly 40%, still a key source of international visitors to Da Nang.
The increasing arrivals of tourists from the United States, Australia, Russia, and the United Kingdom showed Da Nang's expansion to long-haul tourism markets. Meanwhile, promising markets, such as India and the Philippines, maintained significant sources, contributing to the diversification of the city's international visitors.
Reported from the National Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance, Viet Nam welcomed 13.9 million international visitors in the first seven months of 2026, up 13.8% year-on-year, achieving about 56% of this year's target of 25 million foreign arrivals.
