Russian language training for Da Nang’s tourist support staff and cyclo drivers

The training course is to help learners with basic Russian communication skills tailored to practical situations when serving tourists. Trainees learn how to use common phrases for greetings, providing guidance, advising on itineraries, introducing destinations and scenic spots, and offering assistance to visitors when they need them.

This enables Da Nang’s tourism support staff and cyclo drivers to directly apply their knowledge when communicating with and serving Russian-speaking tourists in the city.

In the first seven months of 2026, Russian visitors accounted for over 4% of total international arrivals to Da Nang, reaching 143% of the total for the entire year of 2025.

Russia has officially ranked among Da Nang's top 10 international tourist markets. It also shows the growth potential for the city's tourism from Russia and countries belonging to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center has recently opened several foreign language training courses, including English, Korean, and Russian, while enhancing the skills of communication, service, and cultural knowledge for those who interact directly with tourists.

In addition, the city’s Tourist Support Center operates two offices: in Hai Chau Ward and Hoi An Ward, alongside information counters at the Da Nang International Airport and Chu Lai Airport. The Da Nang Tourist Cyclo Team currently consists of 83 members.
