DNO - Vietnam Airlines said on Tuesday that Vietnam Airlines Group will increase the number of flights by 25% year on year to meet growing travel demand during the upcoming National Day (September 2) holiday.

Accordingly, more than 3,600 flights will be added during the holiday period, up 25% from the same period last year.
Additional capacity will focus on routes connecting Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with high-demand destinations such as Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Hue, Da Lat and Phu Quoc.
In addition to increasing capacity for the National Day travel peak, Vietnam Airlines will proactively adjust its domestic and international flight schedules in line with market demand.
Vietnam Airlines recommends that passengers complete check-in procedures before their flights via its website, mobile app or self-service kiosks at airports.
Passengers can also use the check-in and electronic verification features with biometric identification on the VNeID app to reduce the time needed for security screening and boarding.
