DNO - A ceremony was held at Da Nang International Airport on Saturday morning to welcome the first direct flight from Moscow, Russia, to Da Nang.

Jointly operated by Anex Tour Vietnam and Vietjet Air, the inaugural flight connecting Moscow, Russia, with Da Nang landed at Da Nang International Airport with 377 passengers on board.
At the welcoming ceremony, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, in coordination with relevant units, organized a variety of activities showcasing Vietnamese cultural identity, including the presentation of flowers, conical hats and souvenirs, traditional musical performances, and check-in activities.
This is considered an important milestone in reconnecting the Russian tourist market with central Vietnam, simultaneously opens up expectations for a strong recovery in visitor arrivals from Russia and countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in the coming period.

The launch of the 2026 summer charter flight program marks the robust recovery of international tourists from Russia in particular and the CIS market in general to Vietnam.
It also demonstrates the proactive efforts of Vietnamese travel companies to expand their markets amidst the restructuring and recovery of the global tourism industry.
Additionally, the program significantly contributes to promoting the image of Da Nang and Vietnam as a whole as an attractive, safe, and culturally rich beach tourism destination for international travelers.
