Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry helps boost investment in Da Nang

Mr. Mashiko Michio, President of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang (JCCID), made the statement when meeting with Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed some issues related to business connections, people-to-people exchanges, and investment environment enhancement.

For his part, Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong highly appreciated the great contributions of the Japanese business community, and JCCID as well, to the city's development over the past time.

He praised Japanese enterprises for their active involvement in various people-to-people exchange and social welfare activities in the city, thereby contributing to strengthening the Vietnam - Japan relationship.

Mr. Cuong also congratulated Japanese enterprises operating in Da Nang on their remarkable achievements in many spheres.

He also expressed his belief that the Japan Business Association in Da Nang will continue to make greater efforts to promote friendly cooperation and appeal more Japanese investors and tourists to the city in the near future.

The city leader affirmed that the local authorities will continue enhancing the investment environment, and creating the most favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from Japan, to operate effectively in the city.
