(QNO) - On May 20, Da Nang hosted a webinar titled “Da Nang conects with the Middle East Market 2025.”
The event was jointly organised by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Emirates Airlines. It aimed to strengthen ties with the Middle East market and launch Emirates’ new flight route to Da Nang.
Present at the event were representatives from Da Nang International Airport, tourism associations, travel agencies, golf alliances, and over 100 delegates from the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The webinar highlighted Da Nang’s tourism infrastructure, high-quality services, and strengths in resort and MICE tourism. It emphasised the city’s readiness to receive Middle Eastern travellers through Halal-certified products, luxury accommodations, and personalised experiences.
Local officials expressed their goal to promote Da Nang’s image and help businesses expand into this promising market. International partners showed keen interest in visa policies, entry procedures, and support for Middle Eastern tourists.
Starting June 2, 2025, Emirates will operate four weekly flights to Da Nang, making it the third Vietnamese city in their network after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
This development aligns with the Vietnam - UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), aiming to attract high-end travellers from the Middle East and Europe, and globally boost Central Vietnam’s tourism
