(QNO) - Da Nang's tourism industry is participating in a series of programmes in Milan (Italy), Geneva (Switzerland), and Paris (France), organised by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration from May 6 - 12.
This event targets high-end European markets, particularly Southern Europe and French-speaking regions, known for their high spending and focus on sustainable, personalised travel experiences.
During the events in Milan (May 6) and Geneva (May 8), Da Nang showcased its key tourism products, including luxury beach resorts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism, and golf tourism.
The city highlighted its modern infrastructure, diverse accommodations, and professional services suitable for both individual travellers and international delegations.
Da Nang also emphasised its connection with Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site, noting that European travellers are a traditional market for both Da Nang and Quang Nam’s tourism. The combination of Da Nang’s luxury resorts and Hoi An’s cultural experiences was well-received by European travel partners.
In addition, Da Nang engaged in business-to-business networking with international travel agencies and airlines in Milan and Geneva, fostering partnerships and sharing market insights.
Following success in Milan and Geneva, the program will continue in Paris on May 12, targeting the French market, one of the top sources of tourists to Vietnam, and providing further networking opportunities with major travel, media, and business companies in Paris.
