DNO - For the first time, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 stage will incorporate a giant elevating dome system along with a multi-layered combination of lighting, LED, and laser technologies, promising spectacular large-scale scenes along the Han River.
Inspired by the idea of "the intersection of unity", the main stage’s design evokes a moment when horizons draw closer together where there are no longer boundaries between space, time, and culture, leaving only the resonance of shared emotions.
The design language unfolds across three spatial layers, with sweeping curves reminiscent of connecting bridges.
At the highest level, the expanding dome of light symbolizes aspiration and the relentless pursuit of new heights.
Below, reflective water surfaces capture soft streaks of light, adding emotional depth and highlighting the dialogue between tradition and modernity.
For the first time, a massive lifting dome spanning over 40 meters in width and more than 10 meters in height will serve as the central axis of the stage.
Stretching nearly 100 meters in width, the stage is intentionally expanded so that every viewing angle, regardless of position, offers a complete and immersive experience.
Beyond its scale, DIFF 2026 marks a significant leap in performance technology. The mechanical dome system, comprising five components, can operate independently or synchronously, enabling rapid stage transformations in under 70 seconds.
Lighting, high-powered lasers, 3D LED matrix systems, and Retro Amber effects are no longer separate technical elements but are seamlessly integrated to create “light horizons”.
The interplay of light, movement, and structure creates multi-layered grand scenes, where each performance is not only staged but also vividly "told" through images and space.
