(QNO) – From June 2, 2025, Emirates Airlines is set to launch a new route connecting Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang, marking a significant step in boosting trade and tourism between the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
To welcome international visitors from the Middle East and CIS countries, especially after Emirates Airlines announced the Dubai – Bangkok – Da Nang route starting June 2, 2025, Da Nang has proactively implemented various measures.
The city released a travel guide with market insights, service guidelines, and Halal tourism products. It also organized training courses on Islamic culture and customer service for tourism staff, while enhancing international promotion efforts.
On April 30, 2025, at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, Emirates signed an MoU with Sun Group to jointly promote Vietnam as a top destination across Emirates’ network.
Both sides plan to host familiarization trips for media and travel agencies from key markets to showcase Vietnam’s diverse tourism offerings and boost awareness.
To ensure safety and service quality for the new flights, Da Nang International Airport has partnered with Emirates to survey and upgrade operational areas, implement an autogate immigration system, and enhance rescue and emergency response efforts for maximum passenger safety.
