DNO - From outdoor concerts and theater performances to tourism-linked music festivals, the performing arts are gradually becoming an integral part of Da Nang’s urban life and night-time economy.

One evening in late March, APEC Sculpture Park was transformed into an open-air concert venue with the Da Nang Concert 2026 titled "Season’s Transition".
Bringing together 36 professional musicians and artists from across the country, the concert featured 24 performances in a 90- to 100-minute program.
Earlier in 2026, the “Endless Flow” program at the Da Nang Museum also attracted large crowds of local residents and visitors.
In May 2026, the AirAsia THE NEXT Live Concert 2026 took place at Ariyana Convention Centre Da Nang, drawing around 5,500 spectators.
In July, the “GOm Show”, a contemporary art program combining music, performance and visual arts, held two performances at the Trung Vuong Theater.
Most recently, The Heritage Show offered a unique experiential journey in Da Nang, blurring the boundary between the audience and the stage.
All of these programs, varying in scale and format, reflect growing demand for the performing arts in Da Nang. A performance market involving a growing number of artists and audiences is gradually taking shape.
In 2026, Da Nang targets to develop new artistic programs at the Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater, parks and public squares to serve tourists at both home and abroad.
The city has also proposed developing an ecosystem of Da Nang-branded performing arts programs.
In particular, Da Nang seeks to turn large-scale events and programs into a series of products capable of generating revenue, and attracting visitors.
In the performing arts sector, DatVietVAC Group Holdings is expected to develop the cultural industries, including the organization of national and international-scale music festivals.
Meanwhile, Sun Group and Vinpearl have also joined agreements to work with the city in organizing festivals, events and concerts as part of efforts to develop the cultural industries in tandem with tourism promotion.
KITA Group is cooperating in the development of the cultural industries in connection with the night-time economy.
The city is expected to see a performing arts ecosystem take shape in the near future, contributing to the development of its cultural industries.
