Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung said the relaunch of Golden Hills after a prolonged period of difficulties and obstacles brought renewed expectations for investors and residents, as well as for the development of the city's northwestern area.

He emphasized that the city has identified the removal of obstacles facing long-delayed and stalled projects as a key task to drive growth, prevent waste and address issues affecting residents and businesses.

Da Nang has placed 356 projects and land-related cases on a list eligible for special mechanisms, clearly assigning responsibilities, setting timelines and focusing on resolving each specific issue.

He added, for Golden Hills, the city has allowed the continued allocation and leasing of land and approved adjustments to the project's investment policy, bringing the revised total investment capital to more than VND15 trillion. This represented an important step in removing obstacles.

The northwest area plays an important role in Da Nang’s development strategy, with close links to Lien Chieu Port, the Free Trade Zone, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and the local interconnected infrastructure network.

Alongside the development of manufacturing, logistics and trade, high-quality urban areas will help meet the needs of experts and workers for living, studying and working.

Chairman Hung voiced his hope that Golden Hills will contribute to improving the appearance of the city's northwestern area, maximizing the effectiveness of infrastructure already in place and creating more jobs.

He also noted the groundbreaking of the Khoi Nguyen Preschool was a practical step toward this goal, giving families better conditions to settle down, work with peace of mind and build long-term lives in the area.
