DNO - Da Nang was among key destinations highlighted at the recent ITB Asia 2026 in Singapore as Vietnam’s tourism ecosystem was presented to international partners through a network of integrated travel services, accommodation, aviation and digital solutions.

ITB Asia 2026, Asia’s largest travel trade show, brought together tourism promotion agencies, airlines, hotel groups, travel companies, international buyers and event organizers from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The event provided a major business-to-business platform for tourism enterprises to establish partnerships and expand their international distribution networks.
At the exhibition, Da Nang featured prominently in a multi-destination tourism offering, alongside Phu Quoc, Quang Ninh and Ha Noi.
The participation of representatives from seven hotels and hotel groups, including Novotel Danang Premier Han River and Ba Na Hills Resort by IHG, helped introduce accommodation options and explore opportunities for developing combined travel itineraries across these destinations.
The proposed itineraries offer international visitors greater flexibility in discovering Vietnam, connecting coastal holidays, cultural attractions, leisure activities and high-quality accommodation in different regions.
For Da Nang, its presence in this network provides an opportunity to strengthen its visibility among international travel businesses and promote the city as part of broader journeys through Central Vietnam and the whole country.
Phu Quoc, meanwhile, was a major focus of the showcase, particularly in preparation for the growing MICE market ahead of APEC 2027.
Alongside its island scenery, this destination offers a range of experiences for business travelers, including modern convention facilities, diverse accommodation, beachfront events, team-building activities and artistic performances.
Major infrastructure, accommodation and convention projects being developed for APEC 2027 are expected to deliver lasting benefits, enhancing the island’s capacity to host international conferences and other large-scale gatherings.
The showcase also introduced an integrated tourism ecosystem spanning aviation, accommodation, resorts and entertainment. Sun Phu Quoc Airways was presented as an important link in connecting international travelers with destinations in Vietnam and facilitating more seamless journeys.
Through its presence at ITB Asia 2026, Vietnam’s tourism industry had an opportunity to introduce a more connected range of destinations and services to international partners, with Da Nang included in the multi-destination offering aimed at expanding travel choices and strengthening the country’s presence in overseas markets.
Visit Vietnam debuts AI-powered travel experience
A key technology highlight was the international introduction of Visit Vietnam, a digital tourism platform developed and operated by Sun Group as part of the national digital tourism ecosystem.
Designed with the ambition of becoming a national tourism application, Visit Vietnam uses artificial intelligence (AI) to bring destination information, tourism products and services together in one digital platform.
Its Travel Feed feature recommends destinations, dining venues and experiences based on users’ app activity and preferences.
The AI Trip Planner allows travelers to use natural-language conversations to search for information, receive recommendations and create personalized itineraries based on their interests, budgets, available time and travel purposes.
Users can also select and book services directly through the conversation, linking travel inspiration with trip planning.
