The campaign focuses on bringing distinctive travel experiences that tap into the city’s cultural and natural depth. A highlight is the “Touching Identity” journey, which takes visitors to traditional craft villages such as Thanh Ha Pottery Village, Kim Bong Carpentry Village, Tra Que Vegetable Village and Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, where they can directly interact with artisans and explore local culture.

The “Touching Serenity” journey promotes wellness tourism through meditation, tea appreciation and herbal therapy activities at destinations such as Marble Mountains, My Son Sanctuary, Tam Thai Pagoda and Ban Co Peak, combined with tranquil lifestyle experiences in Hoi An and along the Thu Bon River.

Meanwhile, the “Touching Pristine” journey explores forest-sea ecosystems through destinations such as Son Tra Peninsula, Cu Lao Cham Islands, Tay Giang and Hoa Bac, offering activities like trekking, stand-up paddleboarding and medicinal plant discovery.

Other themed journeys, including “Touching Moments” and “Touching Taste,” will immerse visitors in vibrant festivals and Quang Nam - Da Nang cuisine.

Notably, the city continues implementing strategies to attract returning international visitors who have previously visited Da Nang since 2020, with a focus on key markets such as China, South Korea, Japan, ASEAN countries, as well as newly launched international air routes.

To lure more visitors, Da Nang is offering more than 30,000 free gifts and discounts ranging from 10% to 60% for tourists, including accommodation vouchers, tickets to attractions and entertainment venues, as well as dining, spa services and local souvenirs integrated into experiential journeys.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, travel psychology and behavior are shifting significantly. Today’s travelers no longer seek trips merely to “go and see” but instead look for deeper journeys where they can find balance, peace and authentic connections with destinations.

The value of a trip, therefore, lies not only in scenery but also in its ability to evoke emotions, highlight identity and leave lasting impressions. Based on this perspective, the “Da Nang - Return to Origin” program has been designed as a strategic direction for the city to adapt to emerging tourism trends.

The department also announced the 2026 MICE tourism promotion program themed “Elevating MICE Experiences”. Accordingly, the program concentrates on policies introduced since 2021 with adjustments and additional support tailored to different domestic and international markets.

On the occasion, the “MICE - The Rising Wave” awards were released to honor businesses with outstanding contributions to attracting MICE visitors in 2025. The department also signed agreements with partners supporting the city’s tourism stimulus program.
