Organized by the S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital in coordination with the LINNC Organizing Committee, the event marked the first time Vietnam had hosted this large-scale academic platform.

Taking place on December 5 - 6 at the Ariyana Convention Center, the seminar drew more than 250 professors, experts, and physicians from France, the US, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and other countries in the region.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan emphasized that hosting LINNC Asia 2025 was an important opportunity for the city to promote high-quality healthcare sector, especially in neurovascular intervention.

He also acknowledged the efforts and contributions of Vietnamese experts, including Dr. Tran Chi Cuong, Director of S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital, who has been involved in LINNC for more than 10 years and has presented at numerous international conferences.

Representative of the International Organizing Committee, Dr. Mendes Pereira, Head of LINNC Training, commented that Vietnam was one of the fastest-developing countries in Asia in the field of neuro-intervention. Stroke emergency facilities nationwide have been constantly improving and enhancing the quality of services.

At this year's seminar, Dr. Tran Chi Cuong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dang Luu from the Bach Mai Hospital were appointed as Local Course Directors, responsible for directly coordinating the domestic training program.

Experts expect that LINNC Asia 2025 will create many international cooperation opportunities, contributing to narrowing the expertise gap and significantly improving Vietnam’s stroke treatment capacity.
