DNO - Da Nang and Hoi An have been named among the top 10 most searched destinations for the 2026 New Year holiday by both domestic and international travelers, according to data from Booking.com, one of the world’s leading online travel platforms.

Booking.com's Travel Trends 2025 Report shows that domestic travel continues to be the priority choice of the majority of Vietnamese tourists during the 2026 New Year holiday, with 69% opting to travel within the country.

Accordingly, the top 10 most searched domestic destinations by Vietnamese people between December 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026 are Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Hoi An and Sa Pa.

Meanwhile, this period also marks the beginning of the peak season for international visitors. Booking.com’s search data for the same period indicates that international tourists are interested in cultural, entertainment and festive experiences in Vietnam.

The top 10 destinations in Vietnam most searched by international visitors are Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Mui Ne, Vung Tau, Sa Pa and Da Lat.
