Da Nang elevates Vietnam - Korea Festival with expanded cultural and cooperation activities

At the closing ceremony, the Da Nang Center for International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Services (CIFA), under the Department of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with S-Talent, held the final round of the SUPER K-POP CONTEST 2026, a K-pop dance and performance competition for young talents aged 10 to 25 from across Vietnam.

The final round brought together 10 teams competing in vibrant and impressive performances.

The organizing committee selected the champion and presented several special awards, including Best Dance Performance, Best Vocal Performance and Most Popular Team, with total prize money worth VND 140 million.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Director of the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Xuan Binh affirmed that this year’s festival marked its fifth edition.

It featuring an expanded scale and a diverse range of activities, including Korean Film Days at CGV cinemas, a digital art exhibition at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, and the Da Nang - Daegu Friendship Concert at the Trung Vuong Theatre.

Notably, the conference themed “Meet Korea in Da Nang: Artificial Intelligence - A New Driver for Growth and Development” opened up new directions and cooperation models in policy, technology and innovation.

The signing of important agreements between Da Nang and Korean localities as part of the festival is expected to lay a foundation for increasingly substantive, effective and sustainable cooperation between the two sides.

He added that Da Nang will continue to work closely with the Consulate General of Republic of Korea in the city and other partners to continuously innovate and elevate the Vietnam - Korea Festival in terms of scale, quality and depth of cooperation in the years ahead.
