CANSO Asia Pacific Conference 2026 slated in Da Nang from July 7 - 9

It will have “Accelerating implementation of air navigation services modernisation and unlocking opportunities through regional collaboration” as its theme.

Initiated by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), the annual CANSO Asia-Pacific Conference brings together ANSPs, government, and industry leaders to discuss these topics and how Asia Pacific can build capacity and capability in its skies to support growth.

This year’s conference in Da Nang will focus on accelerating the modernisation of air navigation services and unlocking new opportunities through regional cooperation, at a pivotal time for global aviation growth.

The event will explore regional approaches to modernisation, including lessons learned from Europe, the development of common operational frameworks, and contributions to the implementation roadmap of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) toward enhanced global operational coordination.

VATM became an official member of CANSO in July 2014 and has since actively participated in both Asia-Pacific and global CANSO initiatives.

This is the second time VATM has hosted this event, following the success of the 2017 CANSO Asia-Pacific Conference held in Hanoi.
