DNO - A groundbreaking ceremony for the 110kV Truong Hai Transformer Station and Grid Connection Project was held in Nui Thanh Commune, Da Nang, on Tuesday.
This is one of EVN's key projects in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025) and the 50th birthday of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) (October 7, 1975 - 2025).
Located in the Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park in Nui Thanh Commune, the project has a total investment of VND 101.46 billion.
It includes the construction of a new 110kV transformer station with a capacity of 2x63MVA (phase 1 installing one 110/22kV-63MVA transformer), a 0.03km long 110kV double-circuit transmission line connecting to the existing Doc Soi - Tam Anh line, and five 22kV transmission lines with a length of 5.289km.
The project is invested by EVNCPC, managed by the Central Power Grid Project Management Board, designed by the Central Power Consulting Company and implemented by the Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical JSC.
Its aim is to meet the rapidly growing power demand in Nui Thanh Commune, especially serving industrial production customers in the Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park, while reducing power loss and ensuring stable electricity supply for the area.
The project is expected to provide reserve capacity for neighboring transformer stations, contributing to local socio-economic development.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong emphasized that the project was a testament to great efforts made by EVNCPC and related units in ensuring a stable power supply in service of industrial development and people's lives.
He said that the city was committed to providing maximum support for the project to be completed on schedule.
The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2026.
