DNO - At the Da Nang Venture and Angel Summit 2026 (DAVAS 2026), startups from Vietnam and abroad showcased emerging technologies while seeking investment opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Among the featured projects was MobiCARE, an AI-powered electrocardiogram analysis solution developed by Mita Holdings.
The platform is designed to monitor and diagnose cardiovascular conditions while integrating medical tourism services, a niche sector that is gaining traction in Southeast Asia.
According to Nguyen Minh Tan, CEO and Founder of Mita Holdings, the company expects to supply its devices to around 120 to 150 hospitals and clinics nationwide in 2026.
He described DAVAS as an important platform for connecting with venture capital funds, international partners and cross-sector ecosystems.
Meanwhile, Dubai-based blockchain company ICB Labs introduced ICB Verse, a metaverse-based education platform combining artificial intelligence with augmented and virtual reality technologies.
The platform allows users to interact with virtual scientists in immersive digital environments while accessing a global digital library of more than 17,000 books.
According to the company's founder Mete Altinkaya, the system currently supports English and Arabic and is expected to expand to more than 22 languages within the next six months.
The use of AI in education is becoming increasingly widespread. This creates a major opportunity for us to develop AI assistants and educational platforms that replicate the experience of real-world schools, academies and universities. That is what differentiates us from many other projects on the market and allows us to reach a broader audience.
Mete Altinkaya, the Founder of ICB Labs
He added that the platform’s immersive learning model differentiates ICB Verse from many other education technology projects currently on the market while enabling broader global accessibility.

The participation of international startups at DAVAS 2026 highlights Da Nang’s ambition to position itself as a regional hub for innovation, technology investment and cross-border startup collaboration.
Ngo Tan Tien, CEO and Founder of Bookshare Co., Ltd., said the company’s Smart Library Management Platform Skoolib has secured connections with four investment funds following its participation at DAVAS 2025.
Since then, the startup has expanded its network within Da Nang’s innovation ecosystem and strengthened cooperation with other emerging enterprises. Visibility within the startup ecosystem is particularly important for early-stage companies seeking market recognition and strategic partnerships.
Although DAVAS only lasts a few days, its impact on startups can be significant. If companies make good use of the opportunity, they can accelerate growth, expand their networks and unlock new development prospects.
Ngo Tan Tien, CEO and Founder of Bookshare Co., Ltd.
Bookshare Co., Ltd is developing medical tourism services and is looking to expand international partnerships to introduce these services to overseas customers while bringing travellers to Vietnam for both tourism and healthcare.
Vietnam offers competitive medical costs, increasingly high professional standards among healthcare specialists, and steadily improving facilities. These advantages position the country well to meet growing demand for medical tourism.
At DAVAS 2026, Da Nang arranged a dedicated exhibition and technology showcase area featuring more than 50 domestic and international startups and enterprises.
The event offers startups opportunities to present products, demonstrate technologies and directly engage with investors, experts and potential partners.
Through these exchanges, startups are able to reassess products, refine business models and adjust strategies to better align with market demand.
The forum also helps businesses expand customer networks, seek strategic partnerships and stay updated on emerging technology trends. Such interactions are increasingly important as Da Nang’s startup ecosystem becomes more internationally connected and competitive.
