DNO - In addition to discussions on regional market issues, the Asia Securities Forum Annual General Meeting will feature a dedicated session to showcase Vietnam’s story to international investors and organizations.

The 31st edition of the Asia Securities Forum Annual General Meeting (ASF AGM 31) is scheduled to take place in Ha Noi from September 30 - October 3, marking the first time Vietnam has hosted the event.
Mr. Pham Phu Khoi, Secretary General of the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA), stated that ASF AGM 31 will bring together forum members from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Discussions at ASF AGM 31 will focus on issues affecting Asian capital markets, including stock market outlooks, capital flow shifts, sustainable capital market development, ESG, green finance, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI).
During the session on the outlook for Asian stock markets, delegates are expected to discuss on the outlook for Asian stock markets, the impact of monetary and trade policies, and shifts in global capital flows.
ESG and green finance will also receive significant attention at the conference. At the same time, digital transformation and AI will remain among the key topics on the ASF agenda.
Notably, ASF AGM 31 will feature a dedicated session on Vietnam, scheduled for the afternoon of October 2 under the theme “Investing in Vietnam - Rising in the New Era”.
Under the session, Vietnam's market will be introduced to international investors and institutions.
Vietnam's hosting of ASF AGM 2026 comes as the country's stock market makes progress in its international integration, with FTSE Russell having upgraded Vietnam from Frontier Market status to Secondary Emerging Market status.
The event will also provide an additional channel for domestic market participants to connect with regional partners, as well as to facilitate the exchange of experience in developing stock and bond markets, green finance, ESG, digital transformation and market upgrading.
