According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), travellers participating in the 2026 tourist information survey programme will receive a specially designed Foil Art wooden painting as a commemorative gift.

As reported by VNA, the collection blends natural wood materials with contemporary Foil Art techniques, recreating cultural symbols and landscapes across Vietnam through shimmering metallic effects and handcrafted details.

Each artwork is carefully produced on environmentally friendly wooden panels measuring 8x8 centimetres, making them compact yet meaningful souvenirs that preserve memories of travelers’ journeys through Vietnam.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to directly experience the Foil Art creation process and complete personalised artworks themselves.

The collection begins in northern Vietnam with iconic images such as Turtle Tower and One Pillar Pagoda, reflecting Ha Noi’s rich historical and cultural depth.

The artwork featuring Ban Lien Village captures the tranquility of Vietnam’s northwestern highlands through terraced rice fields, traditional houses and harmonious community life.

In Central Vietnam, the series highlights cultural heritage through images of Thien Mu Pagoda by the “Huong” (Perfume) River, the ancient charm of Hoi An and Da Nang’s “Rong” (Dragon) Bridge stretching across the Han River - a symbol of the city’s modern and dynamic development.

Further south, the Reunification Hall recalls important milestones in Vietnam’s history, while Ben Thanh Market represents the vibrant urban culture and bustling atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City.

From June to August 2026, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism is expected to conduct domestic visitor surveys across key destinations including Lao Cai, Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Hue, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang.

Meanwhile, from August to November 2026, international tourist surveys are scheduled to take place at the Noi Bai International Airport, the Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the Da Nang International Airport, the Ha Long International Cruise Port and the Mong Cai Border Gate.

Alongside showcasing famous landmarks, the collection also introduces Vietnam’s traditional folk art through paintings such as “Phu Quy” and “To Nu,” offering visitors deeper insight into the country’s spiritual life and cultural identity passed down through generations.

As a special token of appreciation, travellers participating in the surveys will receive a Foil Art wooden painting - a unique souvenir blending traditional Vietnamese cultural motifs with contemporary craftsmanship, offering visitors a memorable keepsake of Vietnam’s tourism and cultural identity.
