DNO - The Da Nang - Singapore direct air route is operated using Airbus A321 aircraft, contributing to the tourism and trade promotion between Vietnam and Singapore.
Starting November 17, 2026, passengers traveling from Da Nang to Singapore will have the option of daily direct flights operated by Vietnam Airlines, increasing its total service between Vietnam and Singapore to 42 round-trip flights per week.
Flights from Da Nang are scheduled to depart at 3:00 p.m., while return flights from Singapore will begin at 7:45 p.m. local time. Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 14 round-trip flights per week between Ha Noi and Singapore and 21 round-trip flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore.
Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines, Nguyen Quang Trung, said Da Nang boasts its unique appeal and serves as a gateway for travelers to explore Central Vietnam’s culture and heritage. The airline expects this new nonstop route to enhance travel convenience between Singapore and the region, creating greater opportunities for visitors to discover Central Vietnam.
Singapore is one of Vietnam’s significant international source markets in Southeast Asia. Reportedly, the number of Singaporean tourists to Vietnam in the first nine months of 2026 increased by 29.8% year-on-year.
Da Nang has emerged as an appealing destination for Singaporean travelers, thanks to its striking natural landscapes, such as the Son Tra Peninsula, the Marble Mountains, and the Sun World Ba Na Hills.
Alongside, Da Nang is home to beautiful beaches, which conveniently connect with famous destinations including Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, and Hue Imperial City.
With its advantages in beach tourism, resorts, and event hosting, Da Nang attracts a diverse range of travelers. Furthermore, the establishment of the Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang is expected to create new business opportunities and meet travel demand.
The nonstop air route between Da Nang and Singapore, a regional hub for tourism and commerce, provides additional travel options for both tourists and business travelers.
