DNO - Vietnamese students are being offered greater opportunities to study and build careers in South Korea through a new cooperation programme between the Da Nang College, the Daeduk University and the Thien Minh New Sky International Investment JSC (TNS Group).
As reported that, more than 200 students from high-tech engineering and technology disciplines attended a study-abroad seminar on the D2-6 visa programme jointly held by the three partners mentioned above.
The seminar was part of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed in May 2025 between the three partners, aiming to strengthen international cooperation, enhance training quality and expand global opportunities for students.
The programme focuses on key technical fields such as mechatronics, automotive technology, industrial electricity, refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering, automation, and electrical installation.
Exchange student visa (D2-6) is a type of visa issued to an exchange student who plans to study, according to a degree exchange programme between universities.
It is regarded as a vital “bridge” connecting Vietnamese students with one of Asia’s most advanced education systems, offering exposure to international learning environments, access to modern skills and expanded career prospects.
During the seminar, representatives from the Daeduk University presented details on the vocational study-abroad programme, including flexible transfer models (0.5+2, 1+2, 1+3, 2+2), scholarship opportunities, career guidance and employment pathways in South Korea after graduation.
An interactive Q&A session provided students with insights into eligibility requirements, language proficiency, programme content, and application procedures.
With strong support from international partners and local institutions, the initiative is expected to open new doors for Vietnamese youth, equipping them with confidence, resilience and readiness to embrace global knowledge and career opportunities.
The event also reaffirmed the Da Nang College’s strategy to internationalize vocational education, contributing to the development of a high-quality workforce for both the city and the country at large.
