Over VND 2,777 bn to be poured into domestic solid waste treatment plant

Located at the Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Complex, Hoa Khanh Ward, the plant is expected to have a capacity to treat 1,000 tons of domestic solid waste per day and night, and power generation capacity of 20MW.

In terms of investment, there will be several pre-treatment components to consider, including weighing station, garbage collection area, garbage receiving tank, preliminary sorting and storage before treatment, and leachate collection system.

The incinerator area will consist of such components as fuel feeding area, leachate collection system, incinerator system, ash and slag collection system, exhaust gas treatment system, chimney, fly ash maintenance area, solidification of finished fly ash products, heating system, boiler and power generation turbine.

Items serving production will include central control and monitoring area, raw water treatment station, cooling tower, main pumping station, transformer station, storage, reserve and emergency tanks, oil tanks, and oil pumping stations.

Production support items will be truck wash station, warehouse, production water supply and drainage system, external water supply and drainage system, and systems of power supply, low voltage electricity, monitoring and observation.

The over VND 2,777 billion project is scheduled to be carried out during the 2025 - 2028 period. The operation period for this project is 25 years, not including the time required to complete the procedures for preparing, appraising, and approving the feasibility study report, or for selecting contractors and undertaking construction.
