The event aims to provide a platform for the textile and garment enterprises in Vietnam to showcase their production capabilities and products, discuss potential collaborations, and connect directly with prospective partners in the EU market.

Due to this initiative, businesses can seek new clients, expand their distribution networks, and secure export orders while staying updated with trends of the European fashion industry.

Notably, the EU - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) offers opportunities for tariff preferences on textile and garment products that meet specific regulatory requirements.

Direct engagement with European importers and fashion brands enables Vietnam's enterprises to more effectively capitalize on export opportunities and diversify their markets, as well as integrate more deeply into international supply chains.

According to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), textile and garment exports reached an estimated US$22.2 billion in the first half, up 1.7 percent from a year earlier. In particular, EU was a bright spot, with exports rising 8.8 per cent to US$1.94 billion.
