The launch of new air routes is a positive signal for Da Nang’s tourism sector in 2026.

This collaboration contributes to expanding the aviation network and increasing opportunities to attract more visitors from Southeast Asia to the coastal city of Da Nang.

Accordingly, the Manila - Da Nang route will be operated by AirAsia Philippines with a frequency of four flights per week. The carrier will use Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of approximately 180 - 186 passengers per flight.

The flights will depart from Manila, the vibrant capital of the Philippines, at 1:50 pm (local time) and land in Da Nang, one of the most popular tourist destinations in central Vietnam, at 3:20 pm.

In the opposite direction, the flights from Da Nang to Manila will depart at 5:25 pm and arrive at 8:55 pm. The route will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

This cooperation offers passengers more options in terms of flight schedules and fares, while also increasing transport capacity between Manila and Da Nang.

Previously, the Manila - Da Nang air route had been operated by Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines with a combined frequency of 17 flights per week. With the participation of AirAsia Philippines, the total frequency has now increased to 21 flights per week.

At the same time, the Bali - Da Nang route, operated by Indonesia AirAsia, will officially begin operations on March 20 with a frequency of four flights per week.

Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of around 180 - 186 seats will be used for each flight. This is considered the first direct route connecting Bali and Da Nang.

Specifically, flights from Bali is scheduled to depart at 2:15 pm and land in Da Nang at 5:55 pm. In the opposite direction, flights from Da Nang to Bali will depart at 6:25 pm and arrive at 11:55 pm. This route will also be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

These two new routes are expected to contribute to diversifying visitor sources, reducing reliance on several traditional markets, and simultaneously creating growth momentum for the local tourism industry in the coming period.
