Vietnam's tourism sector continued to record positive signs by welcoming 12.3 million international arrivals in the first six months of 2026, a 14.9% increase compared to the same period last year and nearly reaching 50% of the 2026 annual target.
This result is thanks to tourism promotional activities, expanded international air connections, and diverse tourism products.
In particular, Da Nang continued to receive positive growth in the international tourist market, reflecting the effectiveness of promotional activities, the expansion of the international flight network, and the refreshed tourism products, services, and experiences.
In terms of market structure, South Korea accounted for 20.55% of the total international arrivals to Da Nang, China (8.60%), India (6.68%), the United States (5.82%), Taiwan (China) (5.50%), Australia (4.84%), the United Kingdom (4.51%), Thailand (3.92%), the Russian Federation (3.76%), and Japan (3.66%).
