DNO - The Management Board of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Site (Da Nang City) has just launched a competition to seek creative ideas for products and services, as well as sustainable development solutions for this site.

The competition is designed for organisations, businesses, and researchers in Vietnam and abroad. This initiative creates an opportunity to mobilise intellectual capital and social resources to preserve and promote this heritage's values.
According to Director of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board Nguyen Cong Khiet, the competition focuses on My Son's two key values: Cham cultural heritage and forest ecosystem.
Proposed ideas may center on experiences involving architectures, sculptures, beliefs, and traditional crafts; forest walks, environmental education, and biodiversity observation; and the development of interregional products, community-based tourism, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), night tourism products, and souvenirs branded with the My Son identity.
In the first eight months of the year, My Son Sanctuary welcomed nearly 300,000 visitors, including approximately 262,000 international ones.
The protected zone of the My Son Historical and Cultural Relic Landscape covers an area of over 1,160 hectares, including the 142-hectare UNESCO-inscribed core heritage zone and features an extensive ecological buffer zone.
The My Son area is home to 238 plant species and 607 animal species, along with more than 70 Cham architectural structures dating from the 4th to the 13th century.
